Barcelona Camp Report

18/09/2024

More than 80 people from seven countries participated in the two-day Barcelona Camp, held on September 14th and 15th.

KIF would like to express its sincere gratitude to David, the Branch Chief of Kudo Spain, and to everyone who was involved in running the camp.

At the start of the camp, Mr. Takahashi, Head Director of KIF and Shuseki Shihan of Daido Juku, gave the following message:

This is a special camp. Please do not expect that there will be another camp with the same content as this one. In Japan, we have a saying, “Ichigo-Ichie.” In English, this is translated as “once in a lifetime chance.” In Spanish, it would be “Una oportunidad unica en la vida.”  “Ichigo-Ichie” means that each opportunity is precious and you do not know if it will come again, so you should cherish each and every opportunity. We, the Japanese team, will do our utmost to make this a great camp. I hope that you will also do your utmost.

Several participants requested a copy of the IDO training that was conducted in the afternoon of the first day, so we will provide a password-protected document to those who request it. We will also provide a password-protected document with the training menu for the morning and afternoon of the second day.

Participants who wish to receive the documents but do not know the password should contact the host country of this camp. Anyone who obtains these documents will be obligated to implement them in their respective countries.

We will also be uploading a video of the camp at a later date.
