Regarding the proposal from the Armenian Kudo Federation, KIF conducted a survey among the member countries.

After presenting the results of the survey to the Board, the Board resolved as follows:

New Categories

– U18: 17 years old and 16 years old (the current U19 rule is applied)

– U16: 15 years old and 14 years old (the current U16 rule is applied)

– U14: 13 years old and 12 years old (the current U13 rule is applied)

– 18-year-old players will compete in the general division.

KIF hopes to implement these changes starting with the 4th World Junior Kudo Championships scheduled for 2027.

The World Cup scheduled for July 2025 will follow the current categories, but for international competitions held after the World Cup, new categories may be applied at the discretion of the continental committee and the host country.
