21/08/2024

KIF has been working to join TAFISA (The Association For International Sport for All), and our membership has now been preliminarily approved.

TAFISA is an international sports organization established with the aim of improving the quality of life of people around the world through improving their health and physical fitness and promoting “sport for all”. Sports promotion organizations from over 100 countries are registered as members of TAFISA.

KIF’s membership under the International Member category has been preliminarily approved by the TAFISA Board of Directors at its meeting in early August.

It will be officially approved at the general assembly to be held during the 29th TAFISA World Congress, but at present it is registered as an International Member on the TAFISA official website and we were allowed to use the TAFISA logo under certain rules.

KIF participated in the 28th TAFISA World Congress held in Dusseldorf, Germany in November last year, and established the Kudo for All Committee as a specialized committee, and the following three subcommittees were established under it to begin activities.

  1. a subcommittee tasked with activities towards the youth
  2. a subcommittee tasked with activities towards Gender Equality
  3. a subcommittee tasked with activities towards inclusivity for people with disabilities

This was published in the KIF official website’s NEWS on April 22, and the activities of the Junior Committee in Europe have also been introduced on the KIF official website.
