04/04/2024

KIF officially announces that the Eurasian Cup will be held in Yerevan, Armenia over two days on October 19th and 20th.

Information on the schedule and other details will be sent to everyone from the host country Armenia in June.

At this time, KIF provides the following information.

– As a result of preliminary research, it is expected that more than 10 countries will participate in the general and U19 divisions, so the tournament will be held as the Eurasian Cup.

– For the U16 (13 to 15 years old on the day of the event) and U13 (12 years old on the day of the event) class, if there are 10 or more participating countries, it will be held as a Eurasian Cup, but if there are fewer than 10 countries, it will be held as “Armenian Friendship Cup”.

– As the host country, Armenia will allow up to two participants in each category.

– From countries other than the host country, a total of 6 participants in 6 categories (however, 2 participants per category is the maximum) will be allowed for Male instead of 1 participant in each category. For Female, a total of two participants will be allowed in two categories.

For example : if a country has no contestants in the Male 270+ category, it may allow two contestants in one other category.

– Russian athletes will also be allowed to represent their country to participate.

– Anti-Doping seminar and referee seminar will be held the day before the competition.

– The host country and KIF’s AD committee will discuss implementing doping tests for athletes.

– In principle, all participants will stay at the same hotel. The host country will provide hotel information at a later date.
